Good Luck Bouquet

Hello everyone,
I hope your weekend is off to a good start. I went to my local craft shop this morning for some paper trimmer blades and couldn't resist treating myself to a few "necessary" extras so I'm looking forward to putting them to good use this afternoon!

For today's card I've used one of my newest Lili of the Valley stamps, Pretty Bouquet, and I loved using her! The papers are from the LOTV Antebellum pad and I've distressed them with Dusty Concord Distress Ink. The twine, hessian ribbon and charm (with added paint dabber) are from the Ribbon Girl, and the flowers are a mixture of WOC, Ribbon Girl and the LOTV shop. Finally, the dies are Spellbinders (frame), Magnolia Doohickey (butterfly) and La-La Land (corner).

I'm entering my card into the Crafty Little Fairies challenge - Add A Tag.

I just wanted to say a very warm welcome to my latest followers, and also a big thank you to those of you who have been with me since the start of my blog and have shown me such support and encouragement.

Thank you for visiting! Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Rebecca.

Afternoon Tea

Hello everyone,
I'm sorry that I haven't posted anything for a few days! I hope that you're all well. Thank you so much for all of your suggestions about boxes - I really appreciate it!

I've used Afternoon Tea Tilda for the first time for today's card, along with the Magnolia Doohickey Afternoon Tea bench (I'm still too much of a stamping beginner to brave the masking technique yet!). I've used LOTV papers from the Promises pad, and one of their sentiment tags which have quickly become my new favourites. I've added white paint dabber to the metal embellishments (butterfly from the Ribbon Girl and corner from Wild Orchid Crafts), and used a Memory Box die for the clouds. The flowers are also from WOC, and the organza ribbon, velvet lace and twine are all from the Ribbon Girl.

I'm entering my card into the Midweek Magnolias Challenge - Lacey Lace.

Thanks so much for visiting, it means a lot to me.

Wheelbarrow Blooms

Hello everyone,
Before I go on to my card I have a question to ask you. I've been wanting to use boxes instead of envelopes for my cards and wondered if any of you use them, and if so, do you make your own or buy them? I would really appreciate any advice on the best places to get them or where to find a template.

I have another Mother's Day card today using LOTV Perfect Pair papers and an image from the Cute Cottage Garden art pad. I know I've been neglecting my colouring again but these toppers are so useful! The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the twine, heart pin, seam binding and lace are from the Ribbon Girl.

Sorry the photo is a little bit dark.

I am entering my card into the following challenges:
In the Pink - Mother's Day/Card for a Special Lady
Papertake Weekly - For Mum

Thanks so much for looking!

Mother's Day

Good morning,
I hope you're having a great weekend so far. Just a quick post with a Mother's Day card I made during the week. The topper is from the Hobby House, papers from LOTV Antebellum and Craftwork Cards Correspondence Texture pads, 'mum' tag from LOTV, pearls from Samuel Taylors and lace, seam binding, flowers, twine and wooden heart (with some added paint dabber) all from the Ribbon Girl. Also, I used a Woodware punch for the little butterflies.

I am entering my card into the Papertake Weekly Bingo Challenge (Flowers, Punched Shapes, Lace).

Thank you for looking! I haven't had a chance to look at your blogs this weekend so I'll be having a catch-up later.

First Easter Card

Hi everyone,
It definitely feels like Spring now with the lovely weather we've been having so I've made my first Easter card of the year. I love these cute Hobby House toppers! The papers are from the LOTV Shabby Shack pad, I've used a Joy Crafts die for the pink flowers, and the ribbon and flowers are from the Ribbon Girl (except for the yellow flower which is from the LOTV shop). Also, I cut the little butterflies out of paper from the Craftwork Cards Botanica pad and added Stickles.

I'm entering my card into the Hobby House Challenge - Buttons (my Hobby House product is a Wee Bunnies topper).

Thanks so much for looking,

With Love

Hello,
I hope you've all had a great day. I have a card today for the  Ribbon Girl Lovely Lili Challenge which is Animals. I absolutely love the LOTV animal images so I really enjoyed making a card for this one! I've used an image from the Jack, Patch, Puss art pad and one of the little sentiment tags which I've just tried out for the first time (and love!). The papers are from the new LOTV Heartfelt pad which is definitely one of my favourites from the new release - I'm not sure I would have been brave enough to put red and green together on a non-Christmas card without these beautiful papers. I've used plenty of lovely Ribbon Girl embellishments: flowers, pin, lace, seam binding and red twine.

Thanks so much for looking, I really appreciate you taking the time to visit!

Life Will Blossom

Hi everyone,
I hope that your weekend is off to a great start. I've had a change for today's card and used a quote as the main feature using one of the stamps from LOTV's Quotables - Go For It. The paper is from the beautiful LOTV Antebellum pad, the corner die is La-La Land and the leaves are Joy Crafts.

I really enjoyed making this card so you'll definitely be seeing more quotes on cards from me in the future!

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Lili of the Valley - Crafty Bingo (Ribbon, Pearls, Flowers)
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
A Creative Romance - Jen's Bingo (Pink, Flowers, Pearls)

Have a lovely weekend. Thanks so much for visiting!

Country Birthday

Hello,
The Ribbon Girl challenge this week is Birthday so I thought I'd make a male card since I don't do as many of these as I should! I've used a LOTV art pad image, sentiment from the Simply Sophisticated set and papers from the Country Gent pad and my Ribbon Girl products are hessian ribbon and chocolate brown hemp twine.

Thank you for visiting!

Spring Tag

Hello,
I've been making a few tags recently and I thought I'd share one with you today. I used the Sizzix Super Scallop Tag for the base which I covered with paper from the LOTV Baskets and Bunnies paper pad. I cut out an image from a pre-coloured Hobby House topper and used pearls, flowers, lace and seam binding to embellish (mostly from the Ribbon Girl).

Thank you to everyone who visits and leaves comments, I really appreciate your encouragement!

Have a great day,

Rebecca.

Pink Plus Blue

Hello,
I hope you all had a good weekend. I visited the Lili of the Valley shop on Saturday to stock up on some crafty goodies. I went a few months ago when I first discovered LOTV, but it was so good to go again after following the blog and being able to see all of the beautiful creations displayed in the shop!
So for my card today I've used a LOTV art pad image and sentiment, and papers from the Always & Forever and Bonnets & Bowties pads. I've never used LOTV papers before and I'm so pleased with them - I spent ages looking through all of the beautiful designs when I got home! I've also used Joy Crafts flowers, and Magnolia Doohickey Old Swedish Lace and Swirly Butterfly dies.

I'm entering my card into the In the Pink Challenge which is 'Pink Plus One' and I've chosen blue as my plus one.

Thanks so much for visiting. Have a great week.

Rebecca.
