Tilda Loves Flowers

Hello everyone,
I have a card to share with you today using Tilda Loves Flowers - this was the first Magnolia stamp I bought and I've been hooked since then! I've also tried to use a few things from my stash which have been neglected until now: a Tim Holtz memo pin, a Floribunda rose from the Ribbon Girl (I've wanted to use these for a while but they were too big until I made some boxes for my cards), and a Joy Crafts die for the birdcage. I've also used Maja Design papers, a Lili of the Valley sentiment, burlap from my stash, WOC flowers, and velvet lace, twine and bird charm from the Ribbon Girl. I used a Woodware punch for the butterflies and another Joy Crafts die for the leaves.

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
Ribbon Girl - Magnolia Only: Birthday Card or project
Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia - Use a Charm

Thank you so much for visiting, I really appreciate it. Have a great weekend!

No Red or Green at Winter Wonderland

Good morning,
Our challenge over at Winter Wonderland this week is no red or green. This was a great opportunity for me to use some of my Maja Vintage Frost Basics papers for the first time, as there are lots of alternative Christmas colour schemes in this pad. The image is 'Santa Cookies' from our fabulous sponsor Kenny K and I've framed her with a Spellbinders die. I decided to keep my embellishments quite simple with some WOC flowers, Live and Love Crafts gingerbread charm, and twine, hessian ribbon and lace from the Ribbon Girl. The pearls are from Samuel Taylors and the sentiment is a LOTV tag.

We have two brilliant prizes this week from our generous sponsors:

Kenny K Downloads (3 digital stamps)

Water Lily

Hi everyone,
I hope you're having a good weekend! I've been using my new Lili of the Valley stamps all week and this one is the adorable Water Lily. I added glossy accents to the sunglasses and around the lily pads but they haven't shown up on the photo (but you can see the Stickles on the skirt and wings a little better this time though). The sentiment is also from LOTV and the papers are from the Bonnets and Bowties pad. The leaves are a Joy Crafts die, the dragonfly is Magnolia (I didn't realise the wing was stuck up when I took the photo!), and the banner is La-La Land. I don't really do too much bling but I do love these rhinestone sparklers from the Hobby House. Finally, the flowers are a mixture of the Ribbon Girl and WOC, and the ribbons are also from the Ribbon Girl.

Midsummer's Night

Hello everyone,
I hope you all enjoyed the lovely sunny weekend! I absolutely love the new Lili of the Valley fairies and I have a card to share with you today featuring Midsummer's Night. The sentiment tags are also from LOTV and the papers are Maja Design. The flowers are a mixture of Ribbon Girl, WOC and the LOTV shop, the charm is from Live and Love Crafts (with added paint), the wooden stars are from Samuel Taylors, and I've filled one of my tiny glass bottles with some star sequins. Finally, the following embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl: lace, pin, organza ribbon (underneath the lace), natural and white twine, and the paint dabber which I use on my flowers and charms is from there too.

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
LOTV - Fairies
Ribbon Girl - Lilac/Purples

Holly and Ivy at Winter Wonderland

Good morning,
I'm so excited to be sharing my first DT post for Winter Wonderland with you today! Our challenge this week is Holly and/or Ivy so we'd like to see one or both on your creations. I've used Lili of the Valley's Little Ivy (a pre-coloured version from one of their art pads which I've added Diamond Dust to) and you can just about see some holly on my papers from the Simply Joys pad. The sentiment is also LOTV. The ribbons, twine and button are from the Ribbon Girl, the flowers are WOC and the bell is from my stash. I've also used a Magnolia DooHickey die for the bow and a Die-namics die for the little banner.

We have two fabulous prizes this week from our sponsors:

Pretty Bouquet

Hello,
Sorry I haven't posted anything for a few days, I've had a busy week! I hope you're all well and having a great weekend. I'm trying to use some of the stamps I already have a few times (to justify buying more...) so I've used my LOTV Pretty Bouquet again for this card. I've teamed her up with a LOTV sentiment tag and Shabby Shack papers. The die-cuts are a Spellbinders frame, La-La Land banner and Magnolia DooHickey fence, and I've used a Woodware punch for the butterflies. The flowers are WOC and the following embellishments are all from the Ribbon Girl: velvet lace, hessian ribbon, blue twine, pearl string and resin flat-back.

Watering the Flowers and some exciting news!

Good morning everyone,
I hope you've had a lovely weekend and have something nice planned for today. Before I show you my card I have some news that I've been so excited to share with you. This week I've been invited to join the Winter Wonderland design team! I am absolutely thrilled to be joining such lovely, talented ladies and am really looking forward to sharing my Christmas creations with you all!

For today's card I've used a LOTV sentiment, art pad image and papers from their Timeless Victorian pad. The butterfly is a Memory Box die. I've used hessian ribbon, lace, white twine, pearl string and a wooden heart from the Ribbon Girl, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the charm and pin are from my stash. I always forget to mention the pearls, but I get most of my pearls and gems from Samuel Taylors.

I'm entering my card into the Ribbon Girl Card Challenge - Flowers.

Sorry I haven't had time to visit you all for the last few days, I'll be around to have a look soon!

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit.

Butterflies and Bows

Hello everyone,
I've given my Tilda with Hawaiian Flower another outing for this card and I've also used Magnolia Doohickey dies for the butterflies and bow. I decided to finally treat myself to some Maja Design papers and I have to admit that when they arrived I just sat looking through them for ages because they're so beautiful! I was very tentative about using them and had to remind myself of one of my crafty new year's resolutions which was to use my new stash instead of saving things that are too nice! Anyway, I've also used flowers from WOC and of course some things from the Ribbon Girl: cheesecloth, pin, pink twine, button (painted white), and lace.

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
The Ribbon Girl - Magnolia Only: buttons and bows
Bunny Zoe's - Distress
In the Pink - Fluttering By
Midweek Magnolias - Texture

Thank you so much for visiting, I really appreciate it!
