Tilda with Cock-a-Doodle-Doo the Rooster

Hello everyone,
I hope you're all well. Thank you so much for all your lovely comments - it really means a lot to me that you take the time to visit! I've been busy sorting out my craft stash over the last few days. It started out as a quick tidy up and has turned into a big sort out that is taking ages to get through so I haven't been able to get much actual crafting done!

The card I'm sharing with you today was a bit of an experiment. I've been wanting to try out some different products and at the top of my list was stencils and pastes. This is my first attempt using the Tim Holtz Honeycomb stencil and some grunge paste from Samuel Taylors. I was a bit hesitant about trying it out on my Maja papers but reminded myself of my resolution not to save my favourite products. The Magnolia image is my favourite from the Animals of the Year collection and has been coloured with Inktense pencils. I have also used:
Sentiment tag - Lili of the Valley
Fence and grass - Magnolia DooHickeys
Hessian, seam-binding, twine - Ribbon Girl
Pearls, wooden buttons (with added paint) - Samuel Taylors
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
Charm - from my stash

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
Bunny Zoe's - Bingo (Flowers, Pearls, Charm)
Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia - Buttons

Thanks for visiting - have a great week!

Papers - LOTV Simple Joys
Snowflakes - Woodware and Xcut punches (I've added some Cosmic Shimmer but it hasn't shown up very well in the photo!)

Three Simple Rules

Good morning everyone,
I've used one of Lili of the Valley's 'Go For It' Quotable stamps for today's card. I absolutely love these stamps and this one is definitely something to live by. The papers are from the Heartfelt pad and these cracked paint designs have to be some of my favourite LOTV papers! I've distressed the edges and added Walnut Stain distress ink to the Kraft layers. The butterflies are from a Pion Design Vintage Garden cut-out sheet and I added some diamond dust to the tips of the wings. I have also used:
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts (the darkest flower is from the Ribbon Girl)
Pearls and pearl string - Samuel Taylors
Lace - Live and Love Crafts
Pink pin - Ribbon Girl
Heart pin and burlap - from my stash

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
Lili of the Valley - Take Two (papers and stamp)
Ribbon Girl - Summer (summer for me is flowers, butterflies and pretty colours!)
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Sweet Stampin' - Pretty in Pink

Thank you so much for looking, I really appreciate it. Have a lovely week!

Poppy Tilda

Good morning everyone,
Sorry I haven't posted anything for a few days, I haven't been able to get much crafting done this week. I've finished a card this morning though using Poppy Tilda (I'm really still trying to get to grips with the Inktense pencils!). I wouldn't normally think to use this colour scheme but I recently decided to treat myself to some more Maja Design papers and the colours in the Life in the Country pad really inspired me to have a change! I've used a Magnolia DooHickey die for the butterflies and added Walnut Stain Distress Ink to the edges. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and I've also used:
Pearls - Samuel Taylors
Hessian ribbon, seam-binding, hat pin, baker's twine and red twine - Ribbon Girl
Roses - Wild Orchid Crafts
Poppies - LOTV shop

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
Ribbon Girl - Magnolia only: add a die-cut
A Creative Romance - Show us your colours
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes

Thank you so much for visiting, I really appreciate it!
