Indian Tilda for Autumn

Hello everyone,
I hope you're all well! I'm really enjoying the Autumn weather so I thought I'd make a card with that theme using Indian Tilda (coloured with Inktense pencils). The papers are Maja Design Coffee in the Arbour and have been hand-stitched again - it does take ages but I find it so therapeutic! I'm still experimenting with the frantage and have used Aged Ivory this time. I've also used:
Sentiment - Lili of the Valley
Lace, leaf charm, twine, fir cones, large flower - Ribbon Girl
Other flowers, seam binding - Wild Orchid Crafts
Butterflies (with added Walnut Stain), pearls - Samuel Taylors
Heart button (again, with added Walnut Stain) - Live and Love Crafts
Burlap, bottle, beads - from my stash

I am entering my card into the following challenges:
Ribbon Girl - Magnolia Only: Add pearls
Midweek Magnolias - Autumn/Fall
Magnolia Down Under - Distressing
Simply Magnolia - Anything Goes
Time for Magnolia - Autumn inspiration photo

Thank you for taking the time to visit. I really appreciate your comments - they give me so much encouragement and inspiration!

What would you attempt to do...?

Hi everyone,
I decided to have a little change and make a gift box so I have a few photos to share with you. I used one of the Lili of the Valley Life's Journey Quotables (which I absolutely love) with some papers from the Bear Necessities pad. Also, I've finally had a go at using frantage and it will definitely be making a regular appearance from now on! I have also used:
Lace, hessian ribbon, cheesecloth, crystal pin, large pearls (for the feet) - Ribbon Girl
Shabby bark heart - Live and Love Crafts
Flowers (with added glitter) - Wild Orchid Crafts
Pearls, butterflies - Samuel Taylors
Pearl flourishes - LOTV shop

A side-view so you can see the pearl feet:

And a close-up of the lid:

I'm entering my gift box into the following challenges:

Tilda as Lucia

Hello everyone,
I hope you all had a great weekend. I spent a lovely day in Keswick on Saturday and was able to complete my Inktense collection in the Derwent shop!
For today's card I've used Tilda as Lucia and DooHickey Cute Wings - both were some of my earliest Magnolia purchases which have been neglected until now! The papers are Maja Design (It's Christmas time) and I've hand-stitched the edges. I've added Walnut Stain distress ink to the papers, frame, sentiment, music, wings and flowers. The heart is a Shabby Bark Heart from Live and Love Crafts which I covered in gesso paint and glitter (which hasn't shown up in the photo!) then scratched some off so that the bark could show through in places. I have also used:
Grunge Music stamp - Lili of the Valley
Sentiment - Lili of the Valley ('Noel' from the Christmas Wishes set stamped onto the blank tag from the Christmas Sentiment Tags set)
White flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
Rolled flowers - Marianne Design die
Lace, heart - Live and Love Crafts
Saddlestitch ribbon, twine - Ribbon Girl
Pearls, pearl string, gems, wooden stars - Samuel Taylors
Bell - from my stash

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Live and Love Crafts - Things with Wings
Ribbon Girl - Add Ribbons
Midweek Magnolias - Christmas is Coming
A Creative Romance - A Touch of Kraft
ALBC - Distress It

Thank you so much for visiting - I really appreciate your supportive comments!

Scandinavian Style at Winter Wonderland

Good morning everyone,
It's time for a new challenge at Winter Wonderland and our theme this week is Scandinavian Style (e.g. hearts, reindeer, snowflakes, red and white). I was really excited about this challenge because I love all things Nordic (I recently started learning Swedish!). I've gone for a CAS design with some of my favourite Christmas stash from last year: Nordic Christmas papers (distressed with Walnut Stain) and a reindeer from the Ribbon Girl (the bow was already attached but I've added the bell). I added some hessian ribbon (also from the Ribbon Girl) and some pearls from Samuel Taylors.

We have a fantastic prize of a £10 voucher on offer from our generous sponsor Oyster Stamps.

There is some lovely inspiration from the DT over on the Winter Wonderland blog - I really hope you can join us!

I'm entering my card into the following challenge:
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes

Have a great weekend,

Buttons and Bows at In the Pink (and some exciting news!)

Good morning everyone,
I'm so excited to tell you that I have been asked to join the fabulous design team at In the Pink and am now a Pink Lady! I'm thrilled to be sharing my first DT post with you today for the new challenge of Buttons and Bows.

I thought that Sneaky Tilda would be perfect for this challenge because of the lovely bow in her hair - she's definitely one of my new favourite Magnolias! I used a Magnolia DooHickey die for the paper bow and a wooden heart button from the Ribbon Girl which I've covered with paint and glitter. I've done some hand-stitching again and I think this will be a regular feature on my cards now because I really enjoy doing it! I have also used:
Papers - Maja Design
Postcard - Lili of the Valley
Flowers - WOC
Lace - Live and Love Crafts
Charm and twine - Ribbon Girl
Pearl string - a recent candy win
Butterflies - Woodware punch
Gems - from my stash

I hope you can join in with the challenge! There's some fabulous inspiration from my new teammates over on the In the Pink blog.
