Dies and Punches at Winter Wonderland

Good morning everyone,
I'm here with another Dies and Punches challenge for you and this time we want to see them at Winter Wonderland. I've used a Spellbinders Scalloped Oval die to frame the image and an Xcut punch for the snowflake (which has been layered and given a coat of Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels). One of our sponsors this week is Kenny K so I couldn't resist using the lovely Ice Skate Kate again! I've gone for a smaller card size - it makes a nice change so I'll probably be doing some more of these in the future. The papers are Maja Design Vintage Frost Basics and I have also used:
Sentiment - LOTV
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
Lace, frosted berries - Live and Love Crafts
Seam-binding - Ribbon Girl
Pearls, Pumice Stone Distress Ink - Samuel Taylors
Pin - from my stash

Our generous sponsors this week are:

Kenny K (with a prize of 3 digis)

I hope you can join us over at the Winter Wonderland blog where you will find some beautiful inspiration from the rest of the DT!

I'm entering my card into the following challenge:
Bunny Zoe's - Snow

Before I go, I just wanted to say that it is one year today since I started my blog! I was so nervous about setting one up but your encouragement and lovely comments have made it such a fantastic experience for me. I will be putting some candy together over the next few weeks to say thank you for your support!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend,

Rebecca.

Christmas Decorations at Winter Wonderland

Good morning,
We have a new challenge for you at Winter Wonderland and this time we'd like to see Christmas Decorations. It's up to you how you interpret this one: you could actually make a decoration or feature one on your card. I went with the first option because I have lots of things waiting to be altered that have been neglected for too long! I've used this heart hanger from Samuel Taylors and covered it with Nordic Christmas paper (distressed with Walnut Stain). I kept the embellishments quite simple so that the Ribbon Girl reindeer could take centre stage. The hessian, rusty bell (with added paint) and lace are also from the Ribbon Girl, the pearls are from Samuel Taylors and the brown string is from my stash.

We have some fantastic prizes on offer from our generous sponsors:

and Crafty Sentiments with a prize of 3 digis

You will find lots of lovely inspiration from the DT over at the Winter Wonderland blog - hope to see you there!

Have a great weekend,

Rebecca.

KISS at In the Pink...

Good morning,
It's time for a new challenge at In the Pink and our theme is KISS (Keep It Sweet and Simple). I have to admit that I was very far out of my comfort zone with this one and felt a little lost without lots of layers and embellishments! But I took the plunge and used this cute Lili of the Valley image from one of my art pads. I used a Magnolia DooHickey Old Swedish Lace die for the border and added some tiny pearl string from my stash. The letters are Pion Design and the wooden stars are from Samuel Taylors. A touch of sparkle was the finishing touch and that's it!

I hope you can join us with your KISS creations at the In the Pink blog - you'll find some gorgeous inspiration there from my teammates.

Tilda with Candy Cone

Hello everyone,
I hope you're all having a great day. All of this Christmas crafting has put me in such a good mood! I've made a card using my favourite Christmas colour scheme for the LLC challenge and it was a hard decision because I love frosty pastels and natural tones, but I really can't resist the traditional red and green with a touch of Kraft! Tilda with Candy Cone has been coloured with Inktense pencils and the Maja Design (It's Christmas Time) papers have been hand-stitched. I have also used:
Tag, letters - from the same Maja Design collection as the papers
Lace, rusty snowflake (with added paint), pin, spool, shabby bark heart (with added Frantage because I'm addicted to this and can't stop adding it to everything!) - Live and Love Crafts
Leaves (with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and gesso), white flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
Red flowers, ribbon, twine, cheesecloth - Ribbon Girl
Pearls - Samuel Taylors
Bottle and beads - from my stash

The pull-out tag:

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
